Most Seniors have trouble with the DMV test because of old habits. We can help you to pass your test by making sure you know the behaviors that the examiners expect to see. Demonstrating good caution is essential to passing your test. You may be using caution but the DMV examiner will need to see this caution through the use of head turns. We will show you what you need to do and help you to get into the habit. We also work on the proper speed, lane position, lane changing procedures, and backing up in a straight line. All of these topics are test requirements.
If you do not currently have a drivers license, we can help you to get a permit that will allow you to practice with us. We will send the DMV a report after training is completed and request a drive test for you. We can take you to the actual test and allow you to use our car for the test.
During training we must use our car as the DMV requires commericial insurance and safety checks for all driver training sessions. Most seniors can be successful after just three sessions, each 1.5 hours in length.
